Top 3 Best The Office Episodes of all time
It is truly a blessing to have 201 episodes' worth of NBC’s ‘The Office’ at our disposal. Having watched every episode at least twice and thoroughly loved the majority, it’s hard to provide my definitive ranking. Certain episodes truly stand out for me, though, and have reached God status in the world of television. I’ve listed my top three below; be sure to comment with your thoughts and let me know which episodes make your top ranking!
3. THREAT LEVEL MIDNIGHT
What makes season seven’s "Threat Level Midnight" a truly iconic episode is that we were given a taste of what was to come five seasons prior in season two’s “The Client”. With so many hilarious highlights, Michael’s blockbuster action flick certainly did not disappoint. The film’s most expensive shot, Michael blowing Toby’s head to smithereens, leaves no better way to define Michael's over-the-top hatred for the HR rep. This episode allows us to truly see how weird and wonderful the imagination of Michael can really be.
2. CASINO NIGHT
Encompassing one of the most significant moments in the entire show, the dramatic finale of season two had to be in my top three. Everyone who had watched up until this point was eagerly waiting for and anticipating Jim and Pam to get together, the build-up finally came to a head. The show’s producers had to get this spot on, and they did, perfectly setting up the next season and leaving us excited to see how this love story would unfold.
1. DINNER PARTY
Michael Scott is one of the most iconic characters in television history and he is truly at his best in this season four masterpiece. From Michael showing off his truly extraordinary plasma TV to Dwight crashing the party with his ‘date’, this episode gifts us with so many incredibly hilarious scenes. We see the true dynamics of Michael and Jan’s relationship, making for some cringe-worthy, awkward yet comedically genius scenes.
